INGREDIENTS:
Each tablet contains: 120 mg of concentrated extract of Ginkgo Biloba leaves, equivalent to 6000 mg of ginkgo leaves. Product free from artificial preservatives, wheat, and dairy derivatives. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
THERAPEUTIC USE:
Main Action: Blood circulation. Memory.
Recommended in case of memory loss, vertigo, headaches, ringing in the ears, poor cerebral and peripheral circulation (hands and feet) and nervous depression. Ginkgo increases tissue irrigation, by acting on the vessel walls, reducing the microcirculatory thrombotic risk, preventing platelet aggregation, and activating brain metabolism. It has a neuronal and neurosensory protective effect, promoting nitric oxide formation and arterial vasodilation, and preventing the degeneration of nerve cell membranes. Due to its vascular regulatory action, improves circulation and reduces capillary permeability which, associated with an increase in the resistance of microvessels, which leads to an anti-oedematous action.
Flavonoids have a protective action on nerves, heart, blood vessels and retina.
Terpenoids, such as ginkgolides, improve circulation since they have vasodilating action and reduce platelet aggregation.
Flavonoids can help to minimize retinal problems such as age-related macular degeneration.
The standardized ginkgo extract is also recommended in Alzheimer’s dementia and atherosclerotic dementia, improving cognitive function, memory, and social relationships, preventing depressive tendencies, and slowing the disease progression.
Also indicated in situations of intermittent claudication and glaucoma.
PRECAUTIONS:
In case of pregnancy and/or lactation, you should consult your healthcare professional, before taking the food supplement. Do not associate with warfarin. Suspend taking this supplement 1 week before surgical procedures.
