It is indicated in diseases accompanied by a tendency to hemorrhage, such as scurvy (an extreme case of vitamin C deficiency), as well as in the recovery from intoxication, for example from tobacco, since smokers need an additional dose of vitamin C. In case of canker sores, gum disease, herpes, boils, and where it is necessary to improve the healing of wounds or fractures, supplementation with this vitamin is important. Given that capillary fragility and chronic rheumatism accompany senescence, vitamin C is useful as a dietary supplement in the elderly, particularly in cases of fatigue or inadequate nutrition.
RECOMMENDED USE:
