INGREDIENTS:
Each tablet contains: 60 mg of 10:1 extract of Pau d’Arco inner bark, equivalent to 600 mg of Pau d’Arco; 60 mg of vitamin C (75% of RDA); 30 mcg of selenium (54% of RDA).
Product free from wheat and dairy derivatives. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Main Action: Pau d’Arco 600 mg Antioxidant Plus is a formula that combines the benefits of pau d’arco with the antioxidant properties of vitamin C and selenium.
Pau d’Arco has been traditionally used to treat diseases such as viral respiratory infections, bacterial infections (such as brucellosis), sexually transmitted infections such as gonorrhea and syphilis, prostate and bladder infections, parasitic infections, dermatophyte infections [ringworm (Tinea corporis and capitis)] and other fungi, and infectious diarrhea.
Other diseases, such as gastritis, bronchitis, joint diseases and anemia, have also been treated with the use of Pau d’Arco.
Due to the potential anticancer effect of lapachol, a constituent of pau d’arco, its use has been empirically extended to the treatment of cancer, although scientific evidence in these fields is still lacking.
It is thus recommended as an aid in treatment of situations such as infections, ulcers, cancerous diseases, fluid retention, anemia, fatigue, leukemia (and associated hemorrhagic tendencies), stomach ulcers, gastritis, colitis, endocrinological diseases, skin diseases, and rheumatism.
It combats bacterial and fungal infections, having anti-Candida action.
It has blood-purifying and immunostimulant properties.
Recent discoveries indicate a possible benefit of pau d’arco in the treatment of obesity, dyslipidemia, diabetes, and in vascular and cardiac protection, given the inhibition of fat absorption attributed to the plant.
RECOMMENDED USE:
