Omega-3 is an essential unsaturated fatty acid that, due to its hypolipidemic action, is indicated in situations of hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia and in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
Due to its anti-inflammatory action, it is recommended in case of digestive tract inflammations and can also help reduce benign prostatic hyperplasia.
It can be used as a skin softener in cases of eczema, dry skin, minor burns, and other dermatitis.
